Photography has always been a part of my life. One of my earliest memories is of my dad leaving me with a couple cameras around my neck while he ran to the bathroom . during a trip. I remember being surrounded by elderly people who said, "look at the little photographer! How cute!"

It wasn't until high school that I really began exploring the possibilities of photography. I desperately wanted to capture photos of my horse in action and learned that I would need an SLR. That's exactly what my dad gave me for a graduation gift. That camera was my constant companion as I wandered my parent's little farm, hung out with friends, and studied abroad. Many people encouraged me to pursue photography and I discovered that many of my favorite photos were of people, so in 2010 I upgraded my gear and started Hillary Kuehn Photography.

Today I use a combination of film and digital cameras to create photos that will be treasured for years to come. I enjoy relaxed photo sessions where people and horses can feel comfortable and natural. Contact me for more details about sessions and pricing.

When I'm not taking photos, I enjoy exploring the gorgeous Pacific Northwest, which I have called home all my life, time in the barn with my two ponies, drinking tea, and laughing with family and friends.
